BIO:

Piotr Karpinski has been trained and educated in the UK where he has been living and working for 14 years.

Karpinski’s work has focused on the theme of mortality and has been exhibited in the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2019 exhibition in The National Portrait Gallery, London.

Awarded by The British Journal of Photography with The Breakthrough Award 2016. Exhibited by The Royal Photographic Society twice as part of International Print Exhibitions and Magnum Swap Shop by Magnum Photos- Magnum Photos 70 with David Hurn & Martin Parr to name some.

Selected for a number of books and publications including The Catlin Guide 2015|New Artists in the UK -a book printed annually with an introduction to the 40 most promising new graduate artists in the United Kingdom.
